Al Slade / Owner
Al spent 24 years at Doerfer Engineering in Cedar Falls, Ia.  Al started at the company as a machinist mastering setup and operation of manual and CNC machines including lathes, grinders, vertical and horizontal mills, and fixture building.  

After lead person and shift supervision roles, Al spent his last 10 years with the company as their CNC Coordinator.  As CNC Coordinator he managed the programming department and become fluent in part process layout, design of tooling and fixtures, programming of several CNC mills and lathes, as well as trained operators in setup and machining operations. 

Jeff Slade / Owner
In 2001, Jeff received his BA in General Industry and Tech Management from the University of Northern Iowa. After college Jeff spent five years in sales and purchasing at two of the country's largest fastener distributors.
